Life Vault

Life Vault is envisioned as a repository for a person's life—a place where the papers, records, documents, and fragments accumulated across decades can be preserved, understood, organized, and found again.
THE VISION

A person's important information rarely lives in one place. It may exist in filing cabinets, scanned PDFs, receipts, certificates, letters, warranties, photographs of documents, old records, and thousands of miscellaneous pages.
Life Vault is intended to use AI-assisted review to identify and organize uploaded material into a structured database. Later, instead of remembering the filename or folder, a person could ask for what they need in natural language and let the system locate the relevant information and its context.
Capture

Use AI-assisted review to identify document types, subjects, dates, relationships, and useful metadata.

Store extracted knowledge in a structured system while preserving the original source material.

A NON-NEGOTIABLE FOUNDATION
Personal history requires serious privacy.
Life Vault is a development concept. Any production version handling personal records would require security, privacy, access control, encryption, retention, deletion, backup, and data-export protections appropriate to the sensitivity of the information entrusted to it.
DEVELOPMENT STATUS
Concept in development.
Life Vault is not currently presented as a production storage service. Product architecture, security controls, availability, and commercial terms remain under development.
